Experience the Nyungwe National Park Canopy Walk, a unique aerial adventure. The experience begins with a 2.1-kilometer trek along the Igishigishi trail, culminating in a walk across a 160-meter suspension bridge suspended high above the forest floor. During the hike, keep an eye out for diverse fauna, including monkeys, birds, and butterflies. Although the trail includes some gradual inclines, it is accessible to hikers of all fitness levels. Proper footwear, a rain jacket, sufficient water, and snacks are recommended, along with your camera to capture the experience. Following the approximately 10-kilometer hike, a visit to either the Ndambarare or Isumo waterfalls within Nyungwe provides a peaceful conclusion.
